ok let me start off by saying a HUGE sorry to everyone who is/was involved in the msn conversation i started last night....

for everyone else...heres what happened...

last night i was in Myles' stickam live, and he asked us what we thought if the youstage gathering was in a field, 3 days camping, 3 bands and a small stage for tubers, carparking included, but pay £45 a ticket and first 100 tickets will be given away for free...

naturally i was like ''WTF!!!??'', ill explain why in a minute.

ok so, everyone in Myles' live was like
''£45 thats cheap!''
''Yeah Myles do it''
''£45 as in $90?? thats a cool idea''
ETC ETC ET FUCKING CETERA!

ok so most of them were american...all but maybe one the americans wernt even coming to the UK for this gathering....and i felt like everyone was sucking up to Myles because of his youtube status...

so i voiced it in the live, i told him i didnt think it was fair, and what were people who lived with their parents and were under 18 going to say?...

''hey mum, hey dad...listen, i need £45 to go hang out in a field with strangers for 3 days :-)....plus travelling and food money please...''

and their parents reaction?....

''I DONT FUCKING THINK SO!''

so yeah that was one point i made...

here is a copy of an email i sent to Myles on stickam because his live closed suddenly...

''hi, id like to add something, i had just finished typing it when your live cut out...

to get a fair answer on who could go myles, you would have to ask a bigger range of people to be fair on it, asking 30 odd people in your live, some of whom cant make it to the youstage gathering, is different to askin the hundreds who can make it there, im not trying to pee on the bonfire and i hope i dont sound like an ignorant ass lol, im just sayin really...

and myself and quite a few others iv spoken too, have said, we cant afford £45 on top of travel, for something we thought was free... alot of people would rather have one big gathering in a field and camp there...no live bands or anything, just the usual musical people from youtube and each others company tbh....

thats just my 2 cents really, and im honestly not trying to eff this up or whatever but i do think you need to maybe open youstage stickam at a certain time, and make a video sayin people want to attend youstage gathering should be in thel ive at so n so a time and date then you could throw ideas out there?

and again i really hope i dont sound like a complete arsehole! lol

ok so during writing that email, i got lots of tubers together on an msn conversation and got them to invite other youtubers, but only people who were planning to attend YouStage, then i told them what Myles had said and they, like me, didnt like it...we all agreed we would much rather have a normal gathering maybe an overnight one in a field yeah, but just with our own company and socialising, and NOT in Reading, we wanted a central gathering. and it might sound selfish saying ''we'' when they won the money to make this possible, but we voted every 3 minutes for 6 freaking hours at a time, for them to win, and people put in the work Hosting a YouStage Stickam...

i think it is only fair we get a say in this, and it did knark us all off, especially as Myles said END OF FREAKING AUGUST, thats only a month away, some people need to save, why was it so hush hush? to advertise an event like myles was gonna do, would take more than a month...

let me give you my situation...im 19 years old, iv lived away from my mum since i was 16, i have my own HOUSE, not flat/apartment, i have 2 dogs and a kitten to look after as well as rent and bills, i LOVE going to gatherings and meeting everyone, because the beauty is, its only a few quid each way on megabus most of the time, and i like travelling, even if im sat around waiting to change buses, and then when i get there its such a buzz meeting new people you've only met online and having fun and singing songs with people in the middle of town or a train station haha....i dont think that should be taken away from us, even for just one gathering, the biggest gathering ''supposedly''...just so we have bands we dont want to listen too...

how can you fit sooo many youtubers music tastes, into three bands? it isnt possible...

so yeah, thats just my thoughts on the matter, the MSN conversation was not meant to upset anyone, i just needed to know i wasnt the only one who didnt approve...

now...can someone help me change my layout cos this is pissing me off haha I HATE RED!
